Dr. Rodriguez has been practicing dentistry in Orange City
since 1990. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry in 1977, receiving several awards for academic achievement. After graduation, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital Dental Clinic in Rio Piedras, P.R., becoming the first woman to be accepted into the Rio Piedras program. She worked for 12 years in private practice in Guaynabo, P.R. before moving to Central Florida in 1990. She opened her current office in Orange City in February, 2009. She has visited Honduras twice on church-sponsored missions to provide dental care to the indigent population and has volunteered her services to several local organizations. Dr. Rodriguez remains committed to education as evidenced by her completion of over 1,600 hours of advanced study and her attainment of the Mastership Award of the Academy of General Dentistry. Mastership is the highest educational level awarded by the Academy of General Dentistry, with less than 1% of the dentists in the U.S. having reached this level. She also completed a two year advanced study program in Comprehensive Dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1995-1997. Dr. Rodriguez is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, the Central Florida District Dental Association and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
